Luminary Networks Ltd, in collaboration with WBR Corp UK Limited, proudly hosted the Asian UK Business Meet and Awards 2025 at the House of Commons, uniting a distinguished gathering of business leaders, innovators, policymakers, and investors. The event honoured outstanding achievements in business, innovation, and social impact while fostering deeper UK India economic collaboration.
Held at a pivotal time following the recent UK India Free Trade Agreement (FTA), the event highlighted the importance of cross-border partnerships in sectors such as healthcare, technology, sustainability, and finance. It underscored the vital role of visionary leadership and collaboration in driving global progress.
The ceremony opened with a welcome by L. George, Managing Director of Luminary Networks Ltd, and keynote remarks by S.K. Sahu, Chairman of WBR Corp and a leading brand strategist. The event was graciously hosted by The Rt Hon Lord Rami Ranger CBE, with dignitaries in attendance including Gareth Thomas MP and Hon. Virendra Sharma, former MP and a long-time advocate for the South Asian community in the UK.
Hon. Virendra Sharma, former MP of Ealing Southall in his speech highlighted the contribution of India and UK relation: “I always advocated the relationship between India and Britain. I always believed and still believe that these two democracies are so strong in the world they can bring peace they can bring prosperity not only to these two countries but to the rest of the world. I can see the talent here who have contributed hugely so I congratulate all those individuals who will be recognised today”
